05:06 PM ET 06.01 | Mike Smith wants to stay in Arizona and continue playing for the Coyotes, but he isn't ready to commit to the team until he knows it will have some sort of stability. The Coyotes still haven't finalized new ownership and he wants the ownership situation sorted out before he signs a new contract with Phoenix. Smith is an unrestricted free agent and most expect him to be the top goalie available this summer, but if Phoenix wants to bring him back, it appears as if they're going to need an owner.

BTW, what's wrong with the Kings tonight. Did someone put something in their water at the hotel? They're the more rested team but they had no legs, no energy, no desire. They looked like they were skating on sand. The only one that looked half interested in the proceedings on the L.A. side was Jonathan Quick.

Sometimes, a few days off is detrimental.......instead of beneficial.

I think Smith wants out, and I don't blame him. If they go to Quebec he get's taxed at a higher rate! As for the Kings, Yeah, Quick showed up the others just took the optional afternoon skate!

Here I am commenting on my own post, but Marchand has got to be better, too! Can't do that!

The Pens didn't look too good in their opener either. If they do that the next game, it'll be a short series.
