South Florida wide receiver Terrence Mitchell is transferring to Division II school Fort Hays State, according to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times. Mitchell was suspended this spring by USF for a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge, and beyond that, his role on the team after the coaching change was unclear.

Mitchell finished 2012 with 414 receiving yards on 31 catches, which ranked second on the team. It stands as his most productive season at the collegiate level, though he may end up being moved to defensive back at Fort Hays State.

Someone should email Terrence Mitchell - let him know that this is what his 15 minutes looks like.
