07:08 AM ET 06.03 | Victor Cruz's story is certainly worth telling, and he may be on the verge of gaining a bigger stage. [Cruz] is hoping to catch a reality show. The wide receiver -- known almost as well for his end-zone salsa dancing as he is for his prowess as a player -- told the Daily News he's in talks to land a TV series. "It is going to be something that is very unique to me and very unique to what I like, and like to do," he said. "We are still fielding some requests, so we will see how it goes -- the timing has to be right, and I have got to squeeze in some training in there before the season starts," he said. Cruz, 26, is adamant that his reality series would be tightly focused on him.

Does he have a wife that looks like a human thumb and a redneck daughter?

What...'Dancing With The Stars' not good enough for him?

He's going to be a distracted player this year

Look back over your shoulder, Victor. That's your career receding into the distance.

You could be right. A look back says he finished the last quarter of 2012 like a fourth type receiver. Not good. I don't care anymore where or if he plays.

If I am GM Jerry, I break off contract talks now. I say, the only offer to play in the NFL this year is our tender. Nobody would trade a first for you.

He has only TWO very good years of play. Year one he was IR. Prove to me you are more than a two year wonder. The odds and cost of a long term deal a year from now we will talk about then. I am not messing up my cap long term for this guy. Not right now. Seen him shut down toooo many times. Welker he ain't.

That has to be a pretty small target audience. Where is it going to air? Public Access?

Don't see him staying in NY much longer. Can't be sitting well with management.

"I have got to squeeze in some training in there before the season starts"...certainly seems that he has the right perspective here....Are you kidding...squeeze in some training???? Just what the Giants want to hear...

Somebody had better remind Cruz that this type of thing might be tolerated by one NY football team, but not the one he plays for.
