07:18 AM ET 06.03 | Suspended, yes, but he may still be looking to play football in 2013. A hint at how suspended Notre Dame No. 1 quarterback Everett Golson might spend his fall away from the Irish could be revealed in his recent visit to California. Brad Hoiseth of JCGridiron.com, citing sources, reported that the 6-foot, 188-pound redshirt sophomore from Myrtle Beach, S.C., visited Riverside (Calif.) City College this week. Whether or not Golson transfers to the California junior college or another two-year school, he would still have two years of eligibility at ND (2014, 2015) if he is reinstated in January. He also would be open to being recruited by other schools, but Golson said in a statement Sunday that his plans are to return to Notre Dame.

As the occifers would say, "Move along, nothing to see here."

I thought ND had a policy to not take JUCO transfers. I guess a "Special Exception" will be made for a starting QB

Moving on...

If he really is looking at the JC route, he should take a serious look at LBCC.

Who?

Sorry I have already forgotten him.

It would be "had" forgotten him. To "have" to forget would mean you are forcing yourself to forget. If Bama signs him, you can misrember having to forget him.

Here we go... flunks (or was ousted) and right back to school at a JC. I saw this coming.

If he goes JC route as a transfer from D-1 to JC he must receive his A.A. degree before being elgible to transfer back

Didn't Sandra Bullock say that very high percentage of African Americans don't finish JC? Yes she did, because it's true. Now we have the possibility of the starting QB at Notre Dame going from National Championship game to probably playing at the JC level ONE SEASON LATER! Everett Golson, you've fallen a long long way.
I hope you do well at the JC level and are able to return to FCS Football (is that "Division 1"?) in 2014. Study hard and please never give up.

Not sure that applies if he is a former FCS player sitting out a suspension, especially if he is making up academic credits legitimately.
