What are the chances the Warriors land Dwight Howard?

03:21 PM ET 06.04 | The Golden State Warriors are an up-and-coming team, playing fast-paced and hyper basketball. That's good, but only with the right mixture of players who have to come together as a team. After suffering a total series of domination handed out by the San Antonio Spurs, I look for the Warriors to make some moves this season. There are some good options for the Warriors, especially at the center and forward positions. There are some bad options too, but their problem is that they have no inside presence. An option that may not be as likely as some others is the possibility that Dwight Howard will arrive in Oakland International Airport this offseason. The fact of the matter is that no one has any idea about what Howard wants to do. He has shown interest in staying with the Los Angeles Lakers or traveling to Houston and playing with James Harden in a Rockets uniform.

Kobe will be back before the season starts. You can play for him again if you like. You'll have a statue next to Kobe...

None, natta, zero zilch. But, we'd be more than happy to send them a slightly use DeAndre Jordan. They did sign him to an offer sheet....A guy like Gortat would be good for the Warriors. Howard would want to be a focal point on O and the #1, 2 and 3 options are already assigned to Curry, Klay and Lee.

So you're saying Bogut is done!

Seriously?

Dear Golden Gate Sports,

The Spurs won in six games, and the Warriors had an all-time collapse in one game they lost. Three of the four games the Spurs won came after Curry injured his ankle. (In case you forgot, Steph was everybody's MVP of the playoffs before that, and he was never the same.)

The Spurs only blew the Dubs out in one game start to finish, game 5. In Game 3 the game was tied near the end of the third qtr, in game 6 it was a two point game under with under 5 mins left in the fourth.

I simply don't see how anyone can call that a beatdown by the Spurs.

(Oh, and the Spurs just happen to be representing the West in the finals after losing one of the nine games they played against the Lakers and Memphis combined.... aka the only team to give the Spurs any trouble whatsoever in the playoffs this year was --- wait for it--- the Warriors, who dominated them with a healthy Curry in games 1 & 2 according to every expert on the planet).

Talk all you want about Dwight, but don't misrepresent the facts.

The Spurs put the smackdown on a lot of teams, but the Warriors weren't one of them, not this year. The Dubs with a healthy Curry scared the hell out of Popovich, go look at the quotes.

The Warriors aren't championship material as currently constituted, but please don't belittle the Dubs accomplishments just so you can segue into your article -- one of a billion such guesswork fish-wrap forays to be written this summer -- about a certain center past his prime with no post moves.

Signed,

The Splash Brothers

I still dont think Howard has forgive David Lee for smashing him. Aint going to happen. Also just because it sounds good, doesnt mean it works. Inside presence? Not just a Warriors problem, it is a NBA problem. Its not 90s basketball, everyone has forgotten how to post up. Great for Hakeem he will always have work.

They may or may not. They may or may not. They may or may not....

If it's up to Howard!

There are 3 spots for Howard :

1 - stay in LA's drama

2 - Houston

3 - Atlanta

If Atl can get BOTH Paul and Howard in Atlanta, that would be a coup.

My bet is Paul stays in LA, Howard stays in LA and everyone else overpays for the remaining free agents out there.

That team would look good on paper but why would he go to the Lakers sisters team?
