Cavs concerned about Noel?

07:04 AM ET 06.05 | 'Tis the season for draft projections, but, by this juncture, the No. 1 is often known. Right now, however, we're just offering educated guesses. That's because Cavs sources say that the team won't be close to making a decision until workouts are done and the team has a chance to make a thorough pass through the medical information. With three potential top picks unable to work out because of injuries, those reports have never been more important. ... General manager Chris Grant has been a fan of Noel's all year and even recommended his doctor. Assuming the rehab is going well (his doctor, James Andrews, insists Noel is ahead of schedule while other NBA team doctors are wringing their hands a little), Noel should come out on top.

Now you know you are great when the team you left makes the news trying to see who will replace you.

CLE has another 3 more lottery picks before they are playoff bound.

No more CLE stories please.

They won't make the playoffs this year, next year , basically for a while.

The Cavaliers are about to make another huge mistake. Even if the knee heals completely, this kid is 6'10 and 200lbs. He'll be abused down on the block. On the other end, he gives them nothing offensively. I see the second coming of DeSagana Diop. The only thing impressive about him is that ugly-**** Kid N Play haircut. He's a project. Trade the pick to Toronto for Rudy Gay.

Really! You mean his knee injury wasn't a concern before? lol

I have a feeling Noel is going to end up being another John Wall, only worse.

I think LTCF might too.

Then that's not too bad because Wall looks like he is playing good...

Ghost there are about 5 I would call locks to make the playoffs next year in the east.

1. Miami
2. Chicago
3. Indy
4. Knicks
5. Nets

The rest are up for grabs between Atlanta, Boston, Milwaukee, Washington, Cleveland, Sixers. Too many unknowns going on to count Cleveland out.

That said Noel's potential is Tyson Chandler. He is only 19 but he needs to put on about 30 pounds of muscle. He will do ok in the post defensively because of his length and there are not that many dominate centers in the league.

Be smart cavs.
Trade the top picks that you have for Cousins.

June 5, 2013  09:42 AM ET

Just trade the #1 pick away for Demarcus Cousins and Cleveland will have their big man for years to come.

They just have to hope he does not make some serious noise and disrupt a very young team. Could be great for them, or could be a disaster.

I think the Hawks will make the playoffs easily next year which leaves two spots for 4 teams to fight over. Wiz, Sixers, Bucks, Raptors

Honestly, I think CLE is done forever.

If you lose the G.O.A.T. how do you recover from that.

I mean it doesn't get any better than Lebron, and if you failed to build a championship team around him, then you just can't build a champion.

CLE ownership failed to sign any decent talent for 3 years after making the finals when they had Lebron and now they will forever be a farm team.

I don't see them making the playoffs because I don't think they can jump ahead of any of those teams using the draft and they sure as hell won't get any good free agents to sign there.

Yes sir.

Sending that young man to CLE is like smoking cigarettes at a propane convention, it's bound to blow up. :)
