12:15 PM ET 06.07 | The Minnesota Twins selected high school pitcher Kohl Stewart with the No. 4 pick in the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft. Stewart plays for St. Pius X High School in Houston, Texas. The right-hander is considered the best prep pitcher in the 2013 draft, and may have the highest ceiling overall. Stewart throws a mid-90s fastball with a plus-slider. The 18-year-old is also one of the most athletic players in the draft, also playing quarterback for his high school football team. ESPN ranked Stewart as the sixth-best high school senior quarterback in the nation, and the pitcher is committed to the Texas A&M Aggies as a two-way player. Stewart might be a tough sign for the Twins as the CBA mandates harsh penalties for teams that go over their slotted bonus money.
