04:49 PM ET 06.07 | Monta Ellis has rejected a two-year extension with the Milwaukee Bucks worth $36 million total, including his $11 million player option for the 2013-2014 season. The deadline for Ellis to opt out of his deal with the Bucks is June 20. Ellis is expected to opt out of the final year of his contract with Milwaukee to test free agency, and has been reported to have interest in the Sacramento Kings. Sacramento recently hired Mike Malone to be their next head coach, Ellis' former coach from his time with the Golden State Warriors.

I guess he wants out of Milwaukee because that's a lot of money for his services.

Don't think Sprewell would have turned that down. #GotsToFeedMyKids

I'm surprised the Bucks offered him that much money.

Some team will overpay for this one trick pony. I think it will be the Kings as they want to pull in any Warrior fans that were upset the Ellis was traded from the team.

How dumb are the Bucks to even offer him that much? Totally a 1-dimensional hit-or-miss guy.

I am happy as a Raptors fan, because Ellis had something to do with the Bucks making the playoff this season, without Ellis the Bucks probably will miss the playoff next year

Washington will be ahead of you next season as well, so you can't stop holding your breathe.
