Mike Thomas feeling more comfortable in Lions' offense

03:21 PM ET 06.08 | Detroit Lions wide receiver Mike Thomas dedicated the offseason to learning the team's offense after a disappointing 2012 season. He now feels ready to play a big role for the team in 2013, telling the official website, "I definitely feel a lot more comfortable with what's going on. Now it's just about competing and getting the reps in and getting familiar with all the things we do as receivers." Thomas caught 158 passes for 1,688 yards over three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Lions traded for him before the trade deadline last year, but he wasn't much of a factor, playing only 223 snaps over nine games even after Titus Young flamed out. Now that he's familiar with the offense, Thomas could see lots of playing time in the slot if Ryan Broyles (ACL) isn't ready for the regular season.

Just say it. "Thank God I don't have Blaine Gabbert throwing me the ball".

Weird pic. The DB looks like a pop warner kid with a big head. Benjamin Button?

He should, Reggie Bush is practically guaranteeing a Super Bowl victory this year.

I don't fault Reggie in saying they'll win a super bowl. That's exactly what the Lions need is a guy exuding confidence instead of coming in saying that they just want to "compete" in the division.
