01:55 PM ET 06.09 | Chicago Bears offensive lineman Gabe Carimi will attend the team's minicamp after missing out on voluntary organized team activities, according to ESPN Chicago. Carimi was working out in Arizona to recover from knee injuries he suffered last season. Carimi would have forfeited a contract bonus had he decided not to attend the Bears minicamp. A former first round pick, Carimi has a lot to prove to Chicago's new regime.

Of course he'll be there if $$$ is involved. He should start saving for a rainy day now, if he hasn't already.

The Bears drafted Carimi in the first round two years ago. They haven't done very well in finding productive players through the draft.

Should be interesting to see if he shows up for Bears minicamp especially seeing as he's been traded to Tampa Bay.
