03:38 PM ET 06.09 | Penguins chairman Mario Lemieux may order general manager Ray Shero to fire Dan Bylsma after the team was swept by the Bruins in the Eastern Conference finals. Pittsburgh went to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2008 and 2009, winning it in their second trip, but haven't made it back since. The Penguins went all-in at the trade deadline, bringing in Jarome Iginla, Brendan Morrow and Douglas Murray, but their ineffectiveness, along with another playoff collapse by Marc-Andrew Fleury helped lead to Pittsburgh's ouster. Now the blame for that may fail on Bylsma, who Lemieux could shepherd out of town.

Blaming a guy that doesn't even play for the Pens...

Holy crap - four consecutive Bylsma threads?

I'd rather hear about Gonchar.

"The Penguins went all-in at the trade deadline, bringing in Jarome Iginla, Brendan Morrow and Douglas Murray, but their ineffectiveness ....."

Look no further than those three to figure out what went wrong. They contributed nothing and killed whatever chemistry the Pens did have. Of course, Crosby taking the jaw protector off and Malkin forgetting his balls and heart at home didn't help much either.

Is everybody else as tired of looking at Jay Feaster's picture in the buff as I am? He lost a lot of weight. Must've gotten kicked out of all the buffets in Calgary! -------> ------> ------>

I think taking off the jaw protector was a big mistake. He didn't do anything after that. Iggy, Morrow and Murray were role players, they weren't there to carry the team. If Sid and Geno show up for the Boston series it would have been completely different.

It is as simple as this; Boston is faster, tougher and more talented than the queens right now. End of story.

The question now is can the Bruins do to the Hawks what they just did to the Pens? Even if they're half as effective it would still probably be enough to win it all given how much they just destroyed Crosby & Co.

They all-wise is plenty a'crow t'go round, but, the sumwat regretable Prelim varietay does make a partic-colliery 'tender 'n tasty awn-tray however.

The Bruins looked robotic in their dismantling of whatever the Pens brought to the the series. Lucic is downright scary. He plays an entire game and doesn't even brake a sweat. I think he's a droid and they put bearing grease on his head and use a hydraulic press to fit his helmet into place and then fasten it with two long screws to his head.

No one got destroyed here big mouth -- only game 2 wasn't close. Games 1,3,4 about as tight as two teams can play...simply, Boston had a red-hot goalie who they road...not uncommon in the playoffs. Penguins probably had more shots and hits than Boston but the Bruins converted when they had to while the Pens caught serious iron all series. Boston played well and deserved to win but I'd take your gloat down a few notches and count your blessings -- and hope Rask is still playing that well vs. Chicago or it could be a long series for you guys instead.

Mario....did your mom say this was ok to do?

Hey, the Bruins aren't my team, it was just an obvious observation, the Bruins dismantled the Pens to the point where Bylsma might not survive it. So, if by stating the obvious this means you think I've got a big mouth, okay. This just means there are a LOT of people with big mouths right now.

Everyone who offers an opinion here IS a big mouth, including those who object. ;-)
