05:09 AM ET 06.11 | The Denver Broncos weren't sure if they'd be able to bring back Pro Bowl offensive lineman Ryan Clady but they managed to slap the franchise tag on him and were able to keep other teams from blowing him away with an offer. But the work is far from done. The Broncos need to either allow him to play on a one-year contract or lock him up long term. According to Chris Wesseling of NFL.com, the latter is exactly what the Broncos plan on doing. The Broncos would love to have Clady back and it's almost a necessity considering how much he meant to Peyton Manning's success so far in his comeback. A deal hasn't been discussed enough to have contractual details but the fact that the two sides are talking and talking long-term deal is very encouraging to the Broncos and Peyton Manning.

Nobody wants to pay the players anymore, as a matter of fact, if the owners could use robots instead of players, they would sign them up!!! Go Figure!
