10:02 PM ET 06.11 | Television ratings for Game 2 of the 2013 NBA Finals were down 13 percent from last year, according to a report. After 16.7 million people watched the second showdown between the Heat and Thunder last June, 14.6 million watched LeBron James and Miami blow out the Spurs on Sunday night. The lower ratings are likely a product of the Heat dominating Game 2 by double digits throughout most of the contest.

Bet that 13% were in the San Antonio area

I can totally see this being the case. I will watch as long as Miami loses. That's pretty much all I want to see.

I love the NBA playoffs, but for some reason I myself don't have much enthusiasm for these finals. I'm just checking scores. I think part of the issue is with the "big 3" concept that Miami pulled off (that others are doing as well), has been a major turn off. There is not a fair contest most times.

I'm totally with you bro. Most fans are sick of Lebron and the entire NBA... many out here have completely abandoned the NBA alltogether...

I have seriously disliked that guy since he entered the league, and still do to this day. I acknowledge that he is the best player on the planet right now, but he hasn't always been that, yet he has been treated as if he was even before he dribbled a ball on a pro court. I give respect when its earned. And although he has certainly earned some degree of respect now, I'm afraid that because of what happened before, as far as I'm concerned that ship has sailed.
