03:02 AM ET 06.12 | Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia were photographed shaking hands on the practice range on Monday at the Merion, so does this mean that their long-standing feud is over? The meeting was reportedly initiated by Garcia, and it is believed that the pair agreed to sit down and talk about their differences on Monday night. It was the first time that Woods and Garcia have met face to face since the Spaniard's 'fried chicken" comment last month, where he said at a European Tour awards dinner that he would serve Woods fried chicken if the two were to dine together during this week's major. Woods failed to comment on the issue when interviewed by ESPN earlier today, but with both Woods and Garcia scheduled to talk to press today I'm sure we'll be informed on what went down in their meeting last night.

Wish they would let this go.. Sergio is irrelevant and I could care less what Tiger thinks of the situation

That Monday night talk was probably pretty short. "I don't like you." "I don't like you either." "Ok then....seeya."

Too bad. I think a feud or two is good for the sport.

Tiger is a pea Rick. he could have difused this or the Fuzzy situation by saying " ahh they were just kiddin no big deal". Instead he gives his smug answers and lets it fester.

Garcia of course had to initiate it. Woods as Buc said is only too happy to leave someone hanging in the wind.

Tiger and Sergio might be enjoying a drink in the background laughing at the public perception the media is creating

They could be sitting around enjoying lots of drinks with the way the weather forecast is going there.
