07:01 AM ET 06.12 | Whether he makes it back to full strength in time for training camp remains to be seen, but Redskins QB Robert Griffin III continues to make the optimists look good. [Griffin] said Tuesday he will begin making cuts on his surgically repaired right knee next week as part of his rehabilitation program, as he aims to be ready to practice at the outset of [camp late next month]. ... "You saw today the explosive sprinting part," Griffin said following the team's minicamp practice at Redskins Park. "I feel comfortable sprinting now. The next big stage is just cutting. And it's not that I go cut for two days and I'm ready to go. It's just a month of just doing cutting drills, change of direction. That way I can train my body to get back for that."

How's the O-Line looking?

They should be prepared for some cutting, too.

big and ugly

I like RGIII's work ethic, his common sense, and his realistic approach. Only thing I don't like about him is the team he plays for.

With a porous line he will need to do a lot of sprinting and cutting.

Only thing I don't like about him is a knee that we all know is held together with duct tape, and needs more time to heal than he's going to give it.

Hail to the Redskins!

Nice player but being a Cowboy fan I'd like to see him on his back with Ware standing over him.

IMO, RG has skinny legs and he will always have trouble with injuries, if he continues to play the way he has been!!

Yup. Look how Michael Vick ended up the last couple of years.

If the reports out of Philly are anywhere near accurate, injuries may not be Vick's biggest concern right now. Reports are that he is way behind the other QBs on the roster in picking up Chip Kelly's offense. Right now his primary concern may be just hanging on to his roster spot, let alone his starting job.

Shanny will have him limping along in no time.

Every player, without exception, is one play away from being out for the season, or a career. If a guy worries about that he's in the wrong business. RGIII is a talented guy who plays hard and well. He may not last another year or he may play for the next 15. I wish him well and Hail to the Redskins!

I dunno, has he checked in with his big brother McNabb?
