Noel's hold on No. 1 never more tenuous

07:07 AM ET 06.12 | Thanks to the league's organized workouts and the NBA team workouts that are in full swing, draft boards around the league continue to shift. So who's rising and who's falling? [No. 1: Nerlens Noel's] hold on this spot never has been more tenuous. Yes, his doctor, James Andrews, is pleased with his rehab, but are teams willing to be patient with a player who might not be ready to play until early next year? Especially when he's one of the most developmentally raw players in the draft? After telling me all year the answer to those questions was "yes," it sounds like some of those teams at the top have changed their answer to "no." Even the Cavs' desire for Noel appears to be waning. The only thing saving Noel from dropping a few spots on our Board? Who is going to replace him?

I don't think I would pick this guy #1. I There is just something about him that screams "not #1".

All true my friend.

As the saying goes "You can't teach height", and I suspect this is the overriding reason this kid continues to be kicked around as a potential #1.

Been saying it since September, Oladipo and Porter are the best of this draft

QUOTE(#16):

What the **** are you talking about? He tore his acl in a pretty freak play. He chased down a guard, yes a 7 footer chased down a guard and blocked a shot. With the way the basket was set up he didn't have enough room to land which caused him to land awkwardly and caused the injury. That was his only injury and it happened on a play in which he or Willie Cauley Stine are probably the only two bigs in the nation to be able to make. Never should a 7 footer chase down a guard.

Noel's only injury was devastating enough to end his college career and delay his one in the pros.

I'm cool with whatever Hennigan decides.

Hennigan? Like the no-smell, no-tell whiskey?

QUOTE(#4):

I would love the Cavs to pick this injured project...but if they were smart they would pick the maclemeore kid as a replacement for Kyrie when he leaves...hopefully the Magic will get him instead

Even though McLemore is a SG and Irving a PG? Unless the Cavs want to play small often (PG 2SG), McLemore makes no sense after the Waiters pick last year. If they can trade down to 5 to 7 and grab Bennett or Len. Both are great talents with huge upsides.
