Tony Parker hopes to play in Game 4

02:13 PM ET 06.12 | San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker remains hopeful he'll be ready for Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night after MRI results revealed a slightly strained right hamstring. Parker suffered the injury in the second half of San Antonio's blowout victory Tuesday, spending some time in the locker room before a brief return in the fourth quarter. Already holding a substantial lead, coach Gregg Popovich didn't push his star guard in Game 3, but the Heat likely won't falter to such a high degree again. Considering Parker avoided any substantial damage to his hamstring, like a tear, it will likely be difficult for San Antonio to keep him sidelined more than usual. Despite the phenomenal effort of back-up point guard Gary Neal in the last game, banking on him to finish off a series against Miami would be a stretch. In the first three games of the series, Parker averaged 13.3 points and 6.7 assists per contest.

Even without Mr. Parker the Heattles are in trouble if their shooting percentage stays low, Go Ape Spurs!

Disagree. w/o Parker Spurs are toast. NO one else is an effective play maker. You can see how the offense stagnates with Tony out.

I think he should play even if he's 50%. he can be a threat just as a decoy, doesn't have to score, just make plays for others. The big issue would be him being a complete liability on defense if he can't move.

Parker will be in the lineup, however, if he isn't effective, Pop will put the ball in Manu's hands to facilitate the offense. Joseph isn't ready to run the team just yet.

Kawhi should get some MVP votes if the Spurs survive the Heat. His rebounding and defense on the King has been tremendous.

Disagree. They didn't need Parker on that run and he was ineffective for most part of the game. If the Spurs continue to shoot lights out than San Antonio can claim number 5.

Yes -- the Spurs offense sucked in the 2nd half last night after he got hurt.

Nice try. So I guess your inference here is Spurs are a better shooting team w/o Tony in it. Cool, go with it.
If you can't recognize outliers from the norm, you need some analytical reasoning courses.
