No. 3 pick facing altitude adjustment

07:13 AM ET 06.13 | Colorado's top draft pick Jonathan Gray, No. 3 overall and at one point in the mix for the top spot, has agreed to a contract with the franchise. Terms were not announced. ... Gray is a junior from the University of Oklahoma. The slot value of the third overall pick is $5.6 million this season. He will start his career in Grand Junction for the rookie team. "I heard the ball flies here," Gray said at his news conference. "I will have to adjust to that. It feels great to be here and I can't wait to get going in pro ball. They didn't give me an innings limit. I am sure they aren't going to overthrow me. My arm feels good." Gray is the second-highest pick in team history. The Rockies took Greg Reynolds out of Stanford at No. 2 in 2006.

I'm pretty sure every player at Denver makes a altitude change. It does sound like he has a very good attitude...
