Signs of trouble for Puig

07:14 AM ET 06.13 | Major League Baseball put off announcing discipline for the Dodgers-Diamondbacks brawl by a day, but concern persists. Upon further review regarding the Dodgers-Diamondbacks melee, I'm more worried about Yasiel Puig, less worried about Zack Greinke and astonished that baseball doesn't ban bench-clearing brawls. I'm more worried about Puig because he was out of control during the fight, renewing questions about his makeup that date back to his time in Cuba. ... One Dodger pointed out that Puig's heated response was hardly inappropriate, considering that he was hit in the face. ... Perhaps Puig's conduct Tuesday night was simply an isolated and understandable reaction to a career-threatening beaning. Or perhaps it was a glimpse into an explosive personality, a sign of further trouble ahead.

Anyone hit in the head, would be pissed off and would have attacked. if Kennedy was a punk and aim for someones head this wouldnt have ever happen

Let's not forget he was suspended for a whole year while in Cuba. Of course it was for trying to flee authoritarian Cuba, but nonetheless, he should follow the orders of his superiors!

Ken Rosenthal is the worst.

Ban bench clearing brawls? Who doesn't like one of those every once in awhile? Would it make sense? Yes. Would it be entertaining? No.

If someone throws a baseball at your head at 90 mph and you don't get major league angry, then you are a fool. He could have been permanently disabled or even killed by a head hunting idiot.

June 13, 2013  09:19 AM ET

Sign of trouble??? Boy they aren't trying to hype this up too much are they? They threw at his head. He could have been permanently injured.

We all would have done the exact same thing in the same circumstance. The idiot that wrote the article would do the same thing if someone would have tried chopping his fingers off so he couldn't type on his computer or whatever device he uses for his job.

Let's see what the writer would do if someone stole his/her pocket protector (tongue in cheek on that one).

The dodgers have worried about his maturity level from the beginning. That is noted fact, the recent reckless driving incident , his demeanor in the minors and on and on. He is a man child at this point.

Too bad steroids won't solve a ball to the head. He'd be all set. Yeah yeah, I know. Where's the proof. I don't know what I'm talking about. Etc. etc. I can't help it. Dude's huge across the chest and back and it seems like over 90% of the people using are of certain demographic. Check the names. I hate that baseball has become that for me. Hate it. And yes I want every damn sport tested.

June 13, 2013  09:35 AM ET

He's a Dodger. They're all savages.

June 13, 2013  09:36 AM ET

And I also believe Todd Helton was using during his good years. The accusation has been there and when the stories became bigger all of a sudden he came up with a mysterious illness like Giambi did. He hasn't been healthy for years now and he was never the ballplayer he was when the accusations came out.

Damn good point!!! I could never be a baseball player, if someone hit me in the head with a 90 MPH fastball, he would pay for it one way or another. It's just my opinion, but I don't blame Puig "one bit" for being pissed!!!! I really feel sorry for Kennedy, the next time he steps into the batters box against the Dodgers!!!!

Damn, I like this comment!!!! The idiot (Ken Rosenthal) that wrote this article, probably would have done the same thing, if he got hit in the head by a 90 MPH fastball!!!! Ken Rosenthal is a complete idiot, a guy that sits behind a desk and probably never played a game of baseball, in his life!!!

He deserves to be drilled by Kershaw.

See!?! More savagery from Dodger fans. Violence is not the answer. Give peace a chance.

The reason why fights still exist in baseball is because MLB doesn't hate them all that much. Otherwise they'd be a thing of the past.
