07:24 AM ET 06.13 | The Bruins, already without Gregory Campbell, now have a more pressing concern among its top lines. Nathan Horton, one of their most valuable postseason performers, appeared to injure his shoulder during a power play in the first overtime period. He skated to the bench in obvious pain, went to the locker room, and didn't return for either the second or third overtime. The Bruins gave no word on his condition afterwards. "There's nothing to say," said coach Claude Julien, "because our doctors haven't finalized the evaluation properly." If Horton is sidelined, the B's will have big shoes to fill. "It [stinks]," said Milan Lucic. "Everyone knows how big of a player he is for us, especially in the playoffs."

He was barely touched and looked like his arm had fallen off.

Not good.

Great intense game. I hope the next one ends though before I have to break down and end up going to bed.

QUOTE(#4):

I just want to note here that whatever i thought of Marchand before this series...i think now double. He is A LITTLE punk. If he was anything other than a midget with a chip on his shoulder (that is to say, the size of a grown man) and tried to do the stuff he does, he would (deservedly) get his head handed to him, provided he didn't skate away like the coward he is.What is prompting this you ask? After doung one of his usual little moves and knock Crawford over, he is seen on the bench clearly mouthing 'get up you little b****" If that had been hextall or one of the Smiths (Billy or Mike) or Roy, that little puke would still be pulling the stick out.

How do you really feel?

Still, at the very least, three more games for Corey to give Marchand a Reebok enema.

Watching the game, I just had to wonder: Has Boston ever gotten a penalty that Claude didn't cry about?

June 13, 2013  09:23 AM ET

Losing a Horton is the kind of information that causes me to potentially revise my forecasts.

Marchand is built for the playoffs.

But at the moment, in order to win in 5 you must lose 1.

The Bruins are blaming Aaron Rome out of habit.

Great game , now a long tired day after staying up for that epic clash. Great comeback by the Hawks. Note - Hawks have already doubled the Pens total goals in one game that they got in 4. Good thing Bylsma got extended....

I didn't look at it that close before, but he initiated the contact. I'm guessing he pulled a rib cage muscle.

I'm still trying to determine what was actually offensive in the mod's mind.

little b**** is the only thing that comes to mind. Pretty lame if you ask me.

But not as lame as whomever reported it. Boston fan maybe?
