NFL implements new bag policy

03:16 PM ET 06.13 | In light of recent events, and an ongoing effort to increase safety, the NFL has changed some of its own rules regarding what can be brought into a stadium on game day. And it's certainly going to limit fans in the future. Updated Thursday, fans can now only bring in smaller bags and will need to leave the bigger carriers at home, according to NFL.com:

Further emphasizing food item downsizing, the NFL has announced a new rule limiting fans to 14 ounces or less of a soft white cheese on their heads. Rioting has been reported from Menomonie to the Door Pennisula.

Larger bags/carriers often contain food and drinks brought from home. The NFL would prefer you pay $6 for a hot dog and $12 for a beer.

Fair enough, more and more of the players are bringing in dime bags. Those are pretty small.
