03:25 PM ET 06.13 | Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin turned down the Philadelphia Eagles when they offered their head coaching job to him earlier this year. Sumlin was pursued by multiple teams after a great first season with the Aggies, but opted to return to College Station. Oregon head coach Chip Kelly eventually took the Eagles job. Sumlin said that he is intrigued by the opportunity the NFL presents, but that he's happy where he is for the time being.

It's the Eagles. They've already experienced the change of life and require pharmaceutical aids to get the deed done.

Won't be long til he's gone, sheep people, if things stay good in agland. Better warm up your search committee.

Why would it hurt Kelly's ego???? Hell, even "sloppy seconds" is pretty darn good to be coaching in the NFL!!!

GR, that's what I'm thinking. It looks like Sumlin is the real deal!!!

I'm thinking 3-4 years before he moves on to the NFL.

He will stay to reap the benefits of having Manziel to improve his NFL stock then move on when things don't look so rosey at A&M.
