07:10 AM ET 06.14 | Looking for a name to follow as he rises? Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been climbing draft boards lately. He's a pure scorer who shouldn't have any problem transitioning to the next level. Teams are realizing that he had to do everything at Georgia, and he still put impressive numbers without much help. If you put some NBA-level talent around him, he should be significantly better. Caldwell-Pope craves coaching and has worked out well with teams, which is why his stock continues to rise. He has a lot of fans around the NBA, so don't be surprised if he goes higher than previously expected on draft night.

This is the kind of guy that might be successful is say, Boston. Most "NBA Ready" rookies need instant mentoring, bigtime coaching to fast track their NBA careers. Boston should be a good fit, since they need a scorer too.

He really has impressed me in some of the highlight tapes, didn't watch him much in college. He is actually pretty good on the defense and has sneaky athleticism. He will most likely be a 7-15 pick and the 3rd SG selected and who the Wolves will select if available IMO.
