07:15 AM ET 06.14 | The Rockies are looking at losing one of the most productive hitters in the National League, Troy Tulowitzki. An MRI Thursday night of [Tulowitzki's] right side revealed a broken rib, according to two major league sources. Tulowitzki is likely facing a lengthy absence. The shortstop exited in the eighth inning of Thursday's 5-4 loss to Washington following a diving stop of a groundball, completing a dizzying parade of injuries to Carlos Gonzalez (bruised left foot) and Dexter Fowler (swollen knuckle on right ring finger). Gonzalez confirmed to The Post that "he was fine, just sore," and Fowler doesn't believe he will miss much time. The concern and uncertainty after the game centered on Tulowitzki.

Is just me, or, does Tulowitzki seem to get a bunch of nagging injuries a lot?

This guy is either very fragile or snake bit in his luck. That's a crying shame. He's far and away the best SS in the business right now.

This is his 7th Full Season in the Bigs...

He has played 150+ games in a season... Twice.

Shame - cause he was taking care of business this year...
