07:16 AM ET 06.14 | Help may be on the way for Buster Posey, thanks to some Giants roster moves on Thursday: Brett Pill was optioned back to Fresno and Ramon Ramirez was designated for assignment, while righty Jake Dunning and catcher Hector Sanchez were called up caught up to the team in Pittsburgh. Dunning has a 1.75 ERA in Fresno and can go multiple innings. He's 6-foot-4, 190 pounds and is a former 33rd round pick. In 36 innings, he has 31 strikeouts and 10 walks. Sanchez has struggled with injuries since being sent down, but players who have come up say he's starting to swing the bat better. He hit a deep homer the other night. The guess here is that [Posey] starts getting a few more days off or at first base. He has started 58 of 65 games, 53 of them behind the plate.

ha. If you put all MLB players in a draft for real, I don't know that I wouldn't pick Posey first.

True, with Miguel Cabrera in the mix, but Posey is definately near the top.
