LSU fires head coach John Brady

John Brady's tenure as the LSU men's basketball head coach is over, two university board members have confirmed.. With nine games left in the regular season of his 11th at LSU, the 53-year-old Brady was fired Thursday after a meeting with athletic director Skip Bertman. The university has called a press conference for 1 p.m. today to announce the change.

NCAA = That was great, but what have you done for me TODAY! (UCLA BBall coach, Miami coach, etc ... champs to chumps in about a year). No defense for drafting less than superstar players ...

This firing is way over due. Brady has had more top line players leave his program than you anyone can believe. He didn't actually recruit Big Baby Davis or Tyrus Thomas, as Collis Temple was responsible for those guys. Butch Pierre is responsible for just about everybody else.

Attendance has been totally lacking the last two years and the team has a losing season this year. LSU simply needs a real top line coach and Brady certainly was not the man.

Brady has had like 7 losing seasons out his 11 and has a losing SEC record. So, don't be deceived by the Final Four Appearance, they just had talent and not coaching.

If what you said was true, then he is also not responsible for when they lose..You cannot have it both ways..According to you a coach does not matter..

Who really cares? It's not like LSU has a good basketball program. He did good over his career with what he had to work with.
