03:04 PM ET 06.17 | The Calgary Flames are chasing the No. 1 pick in the NHL Draft and have offered up all three of their first round picks to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for the top selection. The Flames are willing to give up the No. 6, No. 22 an No. 28 pick in the draft to move up to No. 1, where they would likely select Seth Jones or Nathan MacKinnon, and the Avalanche have said that they are open to dealing the top pick. Whether three first rounders is enough to make Colorado budge remains to be seen.

Three 1st round picks? Are you kidding me? If I was the AVs GM, I'd grab it, thank my lucky stars and laugh all the way to the draft table!

Won't go wrong with too many picks in the 1st round this year. It's deep. Seems to me it's far easier to rebuild with three good players than one. But, that's just me.

You have a point, #6 and #22 are still going to be good players.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It sounds generous....BUT - you are talking about a couple of can't miss picks at 1 and 2 this year. The Avs on the other hand have a lot of needs. Tell Calgary to toss in their first round pick next year and it is a deal.

Too steep! They won't bite. Maybe a secondary roster player which, by the way, is all Calgary has these days so, anyone will do.
