08:26 PM ET 06.17 | Bengals cornerback Adam "Pac-Man" Jones will speak at the NFL Rookie Symposium for the second straight year this July, despite being arrested for assault several weeks ago. Jones spoke to NFL rookies last year, and reportedly came off well during his speech. Maurice Clarett is also scheduled to speak at the symposium, giving the young NFL players two cautionary tales for handling NFL stardom at a young age. Jones allegedly hit a woman in a nightclub in Cincinnati on June 5th, but he has pled not guilty to the offense.

I loved the line in the full article - it said he's coaching Rooks to "Not make the mistakes I made".

Dude punched a woman last week. NFL should be embarrassed. He's in the process of being charged for a felony.

That was self defense. If a woman throws a drink at you or slaps you, hit her back and file a criminal charge.

Or... be a man about it and remove yourself from the situation. After all, a little water never hurt anyone and it's certainly not worth throwing away your manhood for.

And yes, hitting a woman is basically the same thing as throwing away your manhood. Might as well castrated yourself while you're at it because you clearly don't deserve the testes you've been given.

And this isn't directed at you, Dole, just anyone p0ssy enough to hit a girl.

I'm tired of it. My sister was beaten badly by her ex husband and I have zero tolerance for the fools who think that **** is ok. Shame on you.

Here will go again!!!! Pacman leaded over the fence that was separating him and the woman and slugged her!!! Watch the video dude!!!! All Pacman had to do was call security, but he hit the woman and ran off like a coward!!!! If it were "self defense" why did Pacman run away???? How come this dip **** always hits woman, is he afraid to hit a man, for fear of getting his butt kicked??? Also throwing a drink at a person versus slapping someone, is compltely different!!!

OK, I'll meet you chivalrous fools halfway:

If a woman slaps or hits you or throws a drink on you, scratchs you, etc. don't hit her.

File a formal criminal complaint instead.

Damn right!

Don't give her the satisfaction of getting over. Put her **** in jail and run her **** through the judicial system.

Its not OK to abuse a woman by hitting or physically intimidating her.It is permissible, in my opinion, to defend yourself, regardless of the perp.

How was Pacman defending himself, from a woman throwing a drink on him, from across a fence that was separating them??? Again, all he had to do was call security, instead of hitting her and then running off. How was Pacman going to claim "self defense", when he left the scene????

Now you're talking, especially if that man has a record of hitting woman. It didn't look good for Pacman to leave the scene!!!

Tossing a drink on another person is assault.

There are laws against assault. Use them.

Technically that is a battery.

I agree, but by him hittiing her, he committed an assault!!!
