07:17 AM ET 06.18 | Wes Lunt is headed home, but it wasn't just about familiarity. The former Oklahoma State quarterback and Rochester, Ill., native ended a complicated transfer process by choosing Illinois. The Cowboys had blocked him from pursuing certain schools as transfer options. "I think it was a tough decision between Illinois and Louisville," Lunt's former Rochester High School coach Derek Leonard said Monday. "But it's home. He's always been a fan of Illinois." Lunt was drawn to new offensive coordinator Bill Cubit's spread system. He had considered Illinois out of high school. ... The Illini finished last season 2-10 -- going winless in the Big Ten -- with Nathan Scheelhaase at quarterback and Reilly O'Toole filling in as a backup.

If Stoops and gang can coach as well as they recruit, KY will be at advanced bottom feeder level with the likes of programs like MSUs and Northwestern.

Advanced bottom feeders? You mean the teams that defeated TCU and Miss St in Bowl Games last year? That's what you call bottom feeders?

I said advanced bottom feeders. DS, you guys are MSUn. My Dawgs are MSUs. Advanced bottom feeders are those traditional bottom feeders that see the light for a season or two (bowl appearances- maybe 8-9 wins) before they drop off again after recruiting tanks or coaching changes or the big boys come out of the doldrums.
