08:13 AM ET 06.18 | It was a big shock for everyone when Chicago Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa was a late scratch for Monday night's Game 3 against the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals. Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville provided an update on Hossa's status following the team's Game 3 loss, and he let it be known that Hossa will officially be considered day-to-day because of the injury he suffered during pre-game warm ups. This leaves the star winger's status for Game 4 up in the air. While people on the outside, including Bruins head coach Claude Julien, were surprised by Hossa's absence, his teammates knew that it would be a possibility after Coach Quenneville told the team Hossa would be a "game-time decision" earlier in the day.

The book was 9 to 1 but what do they know. A few games ago if you'd have taken the Heat and 35 points you'd have lost. lol

The Bruins should be very afraid. If they win the Cup Hossa will probably be playing for them next year. :-)
