02:14 PM ET 06.18 | Seattle Seahawks guard John Moffitt will manage to avoid jail time, provided he can stay out of trouble, after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct on Friday and received a suspended sentence of 24 months in jail. The 319-pound offensive lineman was reportedly seen by a security guard urinating on the skybridge between the Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square malls in January 2012. Moffitt was given a one-year ban from the mall, but returned five months later to urinate next to a parked car and run away from mall security. In August 2012, Moffitt was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespass when he was seen at a restaurant in Lincoln Square, although he managed to avoid publicly urinating before the arrest. A third-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Moffitt has started 15 games in two seasons for the Seahawks, struggling with injuries in each of his first two NFL seasons.

Man reading this just makes me want to take a leak. Where is that mall anyway?

June 18, 2013  02:34 PM ET

OMG once again the mall cops are saving us from this desperate criminal. Thank god for all the fine officers who save us from the smell of urine in our daily travels. On the other side of the coin Dude, this is the US there are toilets everywhere. If you are trying to make a statement try pooping on the mayors porch. Grow a pair. I mean both sides of this coin. You catch him urinating in public again, crack him in the cojones with that night stick. Don't waste my tax dollars dragging this bull through court, Grow a pair.

Stupid, for sure. But really, he could have received 2 years in jail for this stuff and guys are driving 105 mph with hand guns in the car and running from the police and all and getting what?

June 18, 2013  03:25 PM ET

This kind of stuff is bound to happen in Seattle with a Starbucks on every corner.

Did they test it for Adderall?

If this keeps up the Seahawks are going to need weekend furloughs to be able to field a team. If Pete Carroll jumps ship again you know there's trouble on the horizon.

So your saying we have to initiate a Pete Carroll watch? Lord knows he just beat the posse out of town on USC.

Does he have an Urinary Tract Infection? Or did his mother do a poor job of toilet training him?

When a man has got to go i guess he has got to go.

In the present annals of NFL player/crimes, public urination has got to be at the bottom of the list.

There's probably no one left on that team that hasn't been tested for it by now.
