04:49 PM ET 06.18 | Ronnie Hillman knows the scouting report. He's not big enough. He can't take a pounding between the tackles. He's best-suited as a change-of-pace back. "You get that when you're a smaller guy," the Denver Broncos running back told Around The League on Monday from the NFL Media newsroom. "You can't take the pounding, but I just brush it off. Of course you hear things. I'm not going to sit hear and say I don't hear what they say, but you just got to let it go.

Second feature!

About the same size and weight as Barry Saunders, but, Barry couldn't be caught to be hit and I'm thinking Ronnie is not that quick.

*Sanders* damn it

He's got some stiff competition from all reports on Montee Ball, but I would like to see him prove it. He had every opportunity last year when McGahee went down, but the coaching staff didn't feel confident enough in what they saw to give him the reigns.

Did you see his pass blocking? He was going to get Manning killed, so they sat him down.

Terrell Davis once looked invincible.

Stats list him at 5-9, 196. Probably means he's 5-8. He obviously is not Barry Sanders. Even Reggie Bush, an extremely quick back, couldn't be a full-time back. If he has a Darren Sproles type of career, he should be happy. Can't block worth a crap, either.

Ray Rice is 5-8, 212. Hillman doesn't have as much muscle, or talent.

And you're right, the blocking is a problem...

Could have drafted Doug Martin instead.

another dismal Elway draft pick, can't block, can't catch a pass and can't break tackles. they wanted to dump McDaniels pick Moreno but they can't because he is much better than Hillman. so Elway tries again this year with another RB. Yes Mondo why didn't they pick Doug Martin ?
