Jags players fret London impact

07:08 AM ET 06.19 | As a leader in the locker room, Jacksonville tight end Marcedes Lewis' take carries weight. Lewis explained that playing one game a year in London is a good idea because "it's good for the organization when we can go there and represent the NFL. We can show them how hard we work and how great the NFL is." But even one trip to London won't be easy. ... Now think if there were two games in London in one season. It would be brutal. One Jaguars player (not Lewis) told me the locker room is basically preparing for the Jaguars to play multiple games in London in the future. To be clear, I'm not saying the Jaguars will, and the team has said there are no plans to do this, but Jaguars players believe they will be the team to do it.

For the Jags, is "more than one" the same as "eight?"

The game in London is already in their heads.... Distraction.

It's time to replace the Jaguars logo with one of a pregnant dog.... because the Jacksonville team is about to become the league's ****.

Jags TE Lewis..."We want people to underestimate the team."

I , for one, may have over estimated your team with a 4 win prediction. My apologies.

June 19, 2013  08:28 AM ET

How much, can you under estimate a team that stinks the place out every week?

50, lots of other teams will be thinking they're a 2 win team.

I think it is the thought of playing a " Home Game" with people in the stands that frets them the most.

I was thinking that Big Ben and Parliament is one landmark more than Pittsburgh.

They will be totally flummoxed when someone comes out and sings God Save the Queen.

June 19, 2013  09:38 AM ET

They are better off moving a team to Toronto Canada before even considering London

If Goodell has his way, Lewis should start looking to buy a home in London because that might be the new home of the Jaguars. Personally I doubt it will happen. The NFL needs to get rid of Goodell, this buffoon keeps coming up with one bad idea after another.

His stupid Purse Policy will make him the most hated man in America.

My guess is that there will be more 49er fans in the seats in London than there will be Jaguar fans when the 2 teams meet on 10/27/13.
