07:14 AM ET 06.19 | At what point has Doc Rivers pushed Boston too far? Let's recap: Six weeks removed from [the Celtics'] first-round playoff elimination and with the team staring at a potential long overdue roster overhaul this summer, the Celtics still have not received a commitment from the indecisive Rivers. ... Can the Celtics really welcome Rivers back with open arms? How can Rivers relay a message of team and loyalty when this process has suggested that he'd rather jump ship in order to chase a title in a sunny climate? Rivers, such a powerful speaker, can save face publicly. A fan base that's been left squeamish by the idea of rebuilding with a new coach would eventually forgive and forget. But the players?

One of the all-time great playoff games last night and these are the threads we have to choose from.

Sad.

Yuup, and there are 3-4 threads about Doc. These interns sure don't know what's relevant...

Anyways, freaking Ginobili was wearing Ghostown Heat uniform. He was playing the 6th man for the Heat. It's over and the Spurs had their chance. They throw it away. The bandwagon Heat fans are going to pump their chest today. I heard half I'd the fans in the arena were gone before overtime...

You could have stopped right there my friend.

You hit the nail on the head sir. But with that said, the Spurs dynasty is over. There is no way they are going to win game 7.

The refs wanted to get paid so they got a game 7. More money in their wallet.

No way in hell, Doc.

Heat in 7.

As a Celt fan, just like I forgave Ray Allen, I forgive Doc weather he go's or stays. As a fan all you can ask for is a title and both delived. God speed Doc.

Heat in 7.

I had predicted Spurs in six (possibly five). But now...

I don't agree. Hell, give the Heat their just due!!! They hit two bigs threes, in the final 28 seconds of regulation time!!!

Dead Man Walking, Bro?

Sarcasm but the refs swallowed their whistle on the last 2 fouls... Chalmers, Bosh, and Allen stepped up. Manu also stepped up for the Heat. Lebron almost cost the game w/ 2 late turnovers.

Heat in 7 now. Spurs had their chance.

That was their last, big shot. I just don't know what they have left in the tank.

I have a feeling tomorrow night is going to be a rout.

If that last foul by Bosh been called, Green could very well have tied the game. But I agree, Manu was the Heat's MVP of last night's game...

I sure hope not - That was a great game last night and I really think Timmy has one more in his gas tank to go full tilt... However it didn't look good when the Bostrich rolled on top of Duncan's bad knee and came up limping... SD must have had a massive heart attack last night and Ghost probably had to wipe down his T V after the Heat won...

Last road team to win a Game 7 in the NBA Playoffs... Dick Motta's "Fat Lady" Bullets in 1978.

This thing is done.

Before game 5 I said Manu must be sat on the bench at all times, and then he slaps on my face and erupts for 24. But that was just an outlier. Manu is done. Brain farts. Dumb plays. Too reckless. Not something with that many years of experience would do.
It's kinda sad to see Timmy hobbling and puffing after a giant game, and he ends up short.

Feel sorry for Leonard too. Tough spot to be in with the free throws, but this will make him a better player.

Last but not least, kudos to Lebron and Allen. They should what clutch play really is, albeit they got lucky bounces their way.
