07:14 PM ET 06.19 | According to CSN Philly's Tim Panaccio, the Anaheim Ducks have sent out signals to teams that they would consider trading winger Bobby Ryan before or during next week's NHL Draft. And among the teams reportedly interested, the Flyers are one of the teams that already has laid out a potential trade scenario. Ryan is a local guy, from Cherry Hill, and in his six-year career has put together impressive numbers. While Ryan battled injuries last season, he has four seasons with over 55 points. There is no doubt that his addition would be huge offensively, but as Panaccio pointed out in the article, the trade would cost the Flyers one of their best defensemen and a chance to add another defender in the draft. Don't expect the potential risks to deter Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren from trying to shake things up. Much like the man who works across the street as the Phillies general manager, Holmgren likes to make the big move. And there is no doubt that Holmgren cannot afford to have the Flyers have another mediocre season like last year or his job may be in jeopardy.
