06:59 AM ET 06.20 | In the unfolding story that is Aaron Hernandez's future, things went from bad to worse on Wednesday. Police confirmed Wednesday night that the body found near Hernandez's home Monday was that of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, of Dorchester. His death has been deemed a homicide. A law enforcement official tells FOX 25 Hernandez appears to be directly tied to the homicide which is why authorities executed a search warrant at his home Tuesday night. According to the same source, Hernandez, Lloyd, and two other men were at a bar in Boston the night of the homicide, and at some point, the four men left together in a car driven by Hernandez which was confirmed by a text Lloyd sent another friend, the source says.

Ths story in the Boston Globe doesn't make the same claims. But, then again, the Globe often takes the side of assailants over victims.

Hey! Not Guilty!

This is freaky. We know nothing yet, of course, but we have a guy who "met AH" in a bar, left with him, and got shot in the face by AH, allegedly. Guy doesn't want to talk though.

Now some weeks later, another guy meets AH in a bar, leaves with him, and is left for dead. And AH doesn't want to talk.

We know nothing, and we know plenty from that alone I think.

Almost everything in life boils down to sex, drugs, or money.

That's where the police are right now.

Must all be coincidental. Or not!

The Florida thing is a civil suit. The guy who was shot told the police he couldn't identify the guy who shot him. There were no criminal charges filed. But, when he found out Hernandez was in the bar, he lawyered up and went for the guy with money.

This one? Who knows? One thing's for sure, though. Hernandez is hanging with the wrong crowd.

Yeah guys like Brady and Belliache qualify as the wrong crowd in onyones language

You gotta give the cops a few days to plan the strategy that will bilk the most money out of the situation, then and only then will any charges be filed.

In related news, Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme have each broken ground for a new shop across the street from Hernandez's place. Taco Bell will open up right down the street to serve the Hispanic press who will also be all over this.

I think he was heading in that direction already, at least lining up in the backfield like they used Hernandez last season.

I read on CNN that they were in a car together when the shooting occurred.

Is there any evidence that Tebow can catch? I mean that is a big consideration if you're going to play TE

Not buying the story at this point. The Miami guy coming forward months later and all and wanting money? My senses tell me Hernandez is a man with a $40+ million contract who let himself be surrounded by bottom feeders.
