Phil Jackson accepts consulting job with Lakers

12:22 PM ET 06.20 | A month ago, Phil Jackson was all set to take on a front office role for the "new" Seattle Supersonics franchise. Of course, that didn't work out as the Sacramento Kings, who were on the chopping block, remained in California leaving Jackson, a 13-time NBA Champion out of work. So what's a lonely former coach to do? Return to his former stomping grounds, apparently. While Jackson was clear last week that he no longer wanted to coach in the NBA, a front office role is something that has intrigued him and he's apparently found a role as a consultant with his former Los Angeles Lakers.

I feel bad for Timmy on his post game interview. That missed layup to tie the game.
