Noel on thin ice

07:28 AM ET 06.21 | In a good number of NHL corners, the offseason news is brisk. Meanwhile, Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff won't acknowledge what he had for breakfast, never mind where he might pick up lunch -- or some talent for his team. Talk about different management styles. ... We assume the Jets are committed to head coach Claude Noel -- for another season, at least. Whether or not Noel will get a contract extension or go into the season on one leg, that's still up in the air. Again, see above for an explanation of the lack of news on this front. Meanwhile, the Rangers have made it clear they'll introduce a new head coach, Alain Vigneault, in Manhattan, Friday, while Dallas appears on the verge of hiring Lindy Ruff.

From what I heard about his weight, I'm thinking that's the 'before' pic.
