"I think he will be back," T.J. Houshmandzadeh said of Chad Johnson, who is under contract with the Bengals through 2011. "It's a tough situation. I know how he feels. You know how he feels. I know him even more."

That pic rules, they have to keep that team together. Both Lewis and Palmer agree they need a change in coaches first, so why not start there. These team was good just two years ago. But they are clearly under performing and a change is definitely needed in the locker room, but I doubt that it is Ocho.

Bengals can't afford an 8 mil. hit by letting CJ go.

this whole thing is ridiculous...the bengals can't afford an $8 million cap hit just like they can't afford losing one of the best receivers in the league. chad's high maintenance - hell he's an 8 year old - but he's worth it. he'll go to africa, hang out in miami, and by the time training camp rolls around he'll be all smiles again. the media created this drama because they know they can get under his skin and it'll make for some funny interviews on rome is burning.

OK, I give, which one of those girls is Johnson?

February 9, 2008  09:45 PM ET

I am down here and it is awful. Don't blame Brady for not coming.

No nice weather good looking women or good food or drink.

You all stay where you are.

Those chicks are cute!

I hope Johnson does stay in Cincy. After all of his BS comments I can see a few of his teammates, in practice, shut him up for good.

We will have enough offense next year to survive w/o Chad. Carson can get the ball to my grandma, so we just need to get rid of Chad. Send his gold teef elsewhere. TJ - congrats your our number 1 (even though you have been for a year now). Chad - go somewhere else and drop critical passes and catch long 70 yard TD's when we are already down by 21 points. We finally have a year without "off the field" issues and Chad wants out. As a Bengals fan I am sick and tired of the non-professionalism in this organization. Mike Brown, Marvin Lewis and company - you guy's could learn a thing or two about how to run a disciplined, professional organization from your division rival up in Pittsburgh. Or take a trip to Green Bay and see how real professionals run a organized franchise. Call up Tony Dungy and ask him how an adult is supposed to act. Ridiculous. Oh yeah... Chad, and any other whiney professional football player. You are getting paid millions and millions of dollars to play football. If you are not happy with where you are at take a step back and think about how lucky you are to actually be where you are at. You whiners make me sick. Be a part of the solution - don't be a part of the problem. As a Bengals fan I would happily trade Chad for the gum on the bottom of your shoe and eat the cap space to get him the heck out of here. Shortly after I would want Mike Brown to make a Bill Parcell's type hire and instill some darn standards in this joke of an organization... Yes, I am still a Bengals fan and yes, I am pissed about it.
