04:43 PM ET 06.21 | Vladimir Putin walked off with Patriots owner Robert Kraft's Super Bowl ring. Accounts about the circumstances of the missing ring differ. All we know is that Kraft's ring is gone. Fortunately, the Russian President has proposed a solution to settle the matter. "... if it is such a big treasure for Mr. Kraft and the team - I remember some souvenirs were being presented - I have a suggestion. I will ask a jewelry firm to make a really good and big thing, so everyone will see it is a luxury piece, made of quality metal and with a stone, so this piece will be passed from generation to generation in the team whose interests are represented by Mr. Kraft." It's not going to be a Super Bowl ring, a valuable trinket that must be earned over the course of a hard-fought season. However, when Putin offers a solution, you should probably just take it.

Yes, I make right with Kraft. Buy him dinner, take him out on private yacht in middle of the night. We'll go where water is very deep. I make right.

Send the freakin' ring back sleaze ball!

June 21, 2013  05:03 PM ET

In Soviet Russia, government protests you!

Putin is probably enjoying the heck out of this. In his heart he's just a thieving thug and this type of thing is what he does best.

June 21, 2013  05:12 PM ET

So he can have a tin ring set with cubic zirconia.

Yeah, LOL ''Wear these shoes, a little heavy, no''

Or Kraft could just grow up and have a replacement made and enjoy the fact that the original is becoming a legend. Maybe next time he'll be a little more careful.

He hates the U.S. government ,so it's no surprise there.

And a 'World leader' [like Putin] stealing it? Priceless...

And somewhere in Maryland, in a basement leased by The Company through four or five shadow corporations, a Listener is tuned in to the miniature microphone hidden in the special ring they gave to Robert Kraft, with instructions to somehow get Putin to take it....

Classic! The government listening to someone other than Americans.

So Putin admits to stealing the ring.

George Bush said he looked into Putin's eyes and saw an honest man, to which John McCain responded that he looked into Putin's eyes and saw three letters--KGB!
Who saw right?

June 22, 2013  12:25 AM ET

He's a cold blooded ex-KGB thug who got his hands VERY dirty during his, ummm, work.

Seen Zero Dark Thirty? Were the CIA/NSA types who found Bin Laden heroes or villains? It depends on whose eyes you're looking through.

Chechnya, a hotbed of Islamic terrorism, is within the borders of Russia. Sometimes it takes a tough, mean guy just to keep the lid on.

"Vladimir Putin wants to make it right with Robert Kraft"

He's such a freaking weasel! He should go out on a date with North Korea's illustrious leader, Kim Jong-un.

Ummmm. Maybe not. It might upset Dennis Rodman.
