10:00 AM ET 06.22 | Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports the Clippers are not ending their pursuit of Celtics coach Doc Rivers. But they won't budge on offer of second-round draft pick for Rivers. Rivers reportedly has ended his interest in coaching the Clippers.

It'll be poetic justice if Rivers is unwelcome by fans and players in Boston. When on contract, courting other teams is kind of back stabbing.
If Rivers wants to explore, just resign from current position and do whatever the heck he wants.

Even if he quits, he's sill technically under contract. He just go to another team without Boston's permission.

Let me get this straight. Talks were dead. Then CP3 said he wasn't happy and the Clips called Ainge and said they would give him 2 1st rounders. Then shortly after that they said they would give nothing. Then they said they would give a 2nd round pick and nothing more. This is he most bi-polar trade negotiation I have ever seen.

As a Celtic fan I see the writing on the wall. We are in FULL REBUILDING MODE. Let Doc walk. Bring in "the recycled one" Alvin Gentry. I hope for sentimental sake that Pierce resigns. Try to sign Igudala, and hope Sully can recover from back surgery. Rondo and Iggy make a good backcourt. Possible starting 5 Rondo, Iggy, Piece, Green, Fab Melo.

Morning Mrs Str8!You don't think Fab Melo will ever develop eventually?

Fat Melo is a bust. C's are in trouble if they're counting on him.
