09:33 PM ET 06.23 | Even before tearing his Achilles in April, Lakers star Kobe Bryant insisted that he would play one or two more years before retiring. But despite the devastating injury, that outlook may be changing. In a television interview in Brazil, Bryant said he could envision himself playing three or four more seasons. Bryant has one more year on his contract and will be 35 before next year, and he hopes to return from his injury in November or December.

The mileage is finally catching up with Kobe. Thanks for the memories and may you leave the game on your own terms Bro!

Nice! When you were healthy, you said you would retire next year. Was that only a smoke screen of getting more big payday because you were playing at a very high level? I've said he looked like he had 2 more years left after his contract was over but that's before the injury. Now he has 3-4 years left after the injury???? I guess the guy will be in charge for awhile...

And I could live 30 or 40 more years...........

Well, I guess Kob-"ME" still needs the attention...because lord knows he doesn't need the money. Players like A.I. and Bryant teach kids bad habits, when it comes to behavior on and off the court. These selfish players need to take a page from Tim Duncan or LeBron James, in how to conduct themselves as team players and solid citizens.
Kob-'"Me" can enjoy recovering until Valentine's Day...come back sooner and re-injure yourself for all I care.
