Under pressure, Sendek going full throttle

07:14 AM ET 06.24 | Herb Sendek's season will be brought to you by three numbers. "Three, 12, 24," the Arizona State basketball coach said. "Those are our numbers." Three: seconds to get across midcourt. Twelve: the number of seconds in which he'd like his team to shoot the ball. Twenty-four: the number of seconds on the shot clock that will help accelerate Arizona State's new offense, the one designed to get your attention and maximize the talents of sophomore Jahii Carson. ... "A few years ago, people thought I actually wanted to play a slow-down offense," Sendek said. "I did it because it was our only chance to compete. And now people think I've had an epiphany. No, I have the fastest point guard in college basketball." Sendek should be feeling the pressure.

QUOTE(#1):

Maybe he should include telling them to hit the basket too when they shoot the ball.

0-6, want me to see if I can get you a "get outta jail free" pass from the mods so you can provide us with some eye candy?

Two pics of Sendek in two days is two too many.

I applaud his adaption to the skills on his roster. Smart coaching. The dude may be ugly, but he's at least taking the right approach.
