06:18 PM ET 06.24 | The Utah Jazz are expected to let big man Al Jefferson walk in free agency this summer, getting nothing in return for the departure of the 28-year-old. One of the most consistently productive big men in the game, Jefferson will likely command heavy interest on the open market from teams in need of scoring in the post. Since becoming a full-time player back in 2006, Jefferson has averaged 18.8 points, 10.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per contest, though he's taken on a smaller scoring load in recent years with the Utah Jazz as younger players like Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter have taken on larger roles. The Jazz are hoping those two young players can carry the frontline going forward as Jefferson, and possibly Paul Millsap, move on.

Jazz are so irrelevant because of moves like this. A bird in the hand is better than the two on the bench.

That's OK... Clips take Howard and the Mavs take Jefferson.

See how things work out...

Yeah, if Howard went to the Clipps, I think it will only be out of spite"!!!! :-)

Michael Jordan...it's your move. It's time to sign a big man in Charlotte, as you let Tyson Chandler leave.

I hope OKC goes after him...not holding my breath, but Al Jefferson would be a nice addition to the Thunder lineup.

Perfect addition for the Rockets instead of Howard, and they will more likely be able to keep some current players and add additional depth.

He should go back to the T-Wolves!
