07:05 AM ET 06.25 | The clock is ticking toward training camps opening, which may force someone's hand. Things between the Giants and fullback Vonta Leach are "picking up a little bit more," Leach said in a SiriusXM Radio interview on Monday. Leach, who was released by the Baltimore Ravens in early June, has been linked to the Dolphins and Texans and Giants recently, and there's a chance that he could return to the Ravens. ... Leach said the Giants showed their interest almost immediately after he was released. "The Giants called us on the first day," he said on SiriusXM. "Then, from what I heard, things (are) picking up a little bit more." Still, Leach said he is "keeping all my options open." right now." Maybe more like sharks. The Giants like to pick up free agents on the cheap. Some day they are going to realize that they get what they pay for.

He really does not have that many options to keep open. Two tops. To be 32 year old blocking Full Backs are not in great demand.

They only want someone to play the first 6 weeks until Hynoski comes off the PUP list so they can keep Pasco at TE in running formations. Thats all....

True, but with an OL that did not generate a good running game last season, the Giants really need someone decent in the blocking back position for those 6 games. I don't want to see them start 2-4 because they can't run the ball.

Leach must be fine taking a serious paycut and less snaps if he wants to go back with the Ravens.

He will take a serious pay cut no matter where he goes. That is his hold up right now, guys who made the big bucks struggle when that truth smacks them. Same with anybody who changes jobs, does the same thing but for a lot less....

Wow. Leach is looking really old in that picture...and pale.

Playing one year in the NFL is like two years and more of a normal life on your body. 32=64+

Option one: Giants minimum wage for six weeks.

Option two: Miami, maybe, minimum wage plus dinner for two at Jardim de Portugal. Must I must wear Teal on weekends.

Option three: Retire.

I've always wondered what he was looking at and what he was grabbing in that pic.
