03:01 PM ET 06.25 | Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew will not face charges for his alleged involvement in an incident that occurred at Conch House restaurant in St. Augustine, Fla., in May, according to a report from Vic Micolucci of WJXT in Jacksonville. Jones-Drew, 28, was accused of knocking out a security guard at the restaurant after his friend was put in a headlock. While the security guard claimed to have video evidence of the incident, Jones-Drew's agent claimed that his client had no involvement and left the premises when the altercation began. The case was forwarded to the State Attorney's Office for further investigation, but no charges were filed despite initial reports of misdemeanor battery charges for the Jaguars running back.

I sense a settlement in the works.

This is a contract year for him, isn't it? Count on him to be on his best behavior. I don't imagine an incident like that would "go away" cheaply.

Claimed to have video evidence? It ran on TMZ for a week. He DID have video evidence.

Somewhere in FL, somebody's election campaign fund received an anonymous donation.

I guess you have to commend the agent for doing his job.

Oh stop! Please. the only recorded voter fraud in the last election was by the Republican Party in Florida. Feel as you want, just stop making stuff up and repeating lies to justify what you feelings are. Give us all a break! Jeesh!

Truth: Fact: Here ya go.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported Tuesday that the two ex-employees were charged with a third degree felony. But prosecutors back in January decided to place both of them on probation because neither has a criminal history.

Strategic Allied Consulting was hired by Republicans to do voter registration drives in Florida and other states. But last fall, the state party fired the company and took the additional step of filing an election fraud complaint against the company with state officials.

The same group was then REHIRED UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME to continue its "work."

Right, no harm done.
