07:08 AM ET 06.26 | The Seahawks have emerged as an excellent threat to the NFC supremacy in San Francisco, and Vernon Davis has taken notice. "They're building a dynasty over there," the Niners tight end told NFL.com's Jeff Darlington on Tuesday at the NFL Rookie Symposium in Ohio. "These guys are coming to take us out. I respect them, but we want to win, too. We have to ... play each game like it's our last game." Darlington asked Davis if he would see time at wide receiver this season. Davis practiced exclusively with the wide receivers during minicamp, leading to speculation he will take on a different role with Michael Crabtree sidelined by an Achilles injury. "If coaches want to line me up there, we'll see," he said. "I'll do whatever the coaches ask me to do."

"The Seahawks have emerged as an excellent threat". As opposed to a horrible threat? Quality journalism. I guess they ran out of adjectives. Or maybe they just don't know how to use them.

Reminds me of the Dodge Dynasty. Ye old K car. Though my favorite was the Nova. Hard to sell a car south of the border when your name translated means " No Go."

A friend in high school had an old primer gray Chevy Nova - fill the oil, check the gas. 3 on the knee. Oh the days.

gotta win a title or at least make it the big show a few times over a period of time before you should even consider mentioning that term with a team...vernon davis your niners could have a dynasty if you were consistent!

Had so many over the years it could fill a parking lot. My favorite though was the 1960 volvo sedan. Came in three colors, white, red and gray. I had the used gray version. Best memory was four guys from Harvard pushing it so I could pop the clutch and get it started to head out on a 500 mile trip. always wondered what those guys ended up doing, heck could have become the President for all I know. did not dare stop to thank them....

NFC Supremacy...after one good year??? Guess it doesn't take much to achieve supremacy in the NFL.

Dynasties are being built everywhere, but the vast majority of those projects are never finished. The way of the NFL.

They're building a dynasty alright... using PED's as the building blocks.

June 26, 2013  12:51 PM ET

Did Jeff Darlington major in Play-Doh manufacturing in college?

In order to "build" a "dynasty", one must begin winning first.

Ahh, whatever. At least he is a law-abiding TE.

This guy could use a punctuation dynasty to aid in his use of commas.

3 of those 6 guys that got caught using PED's, have never played a down for Seattle

"of those caught". Caught being the important word.

Remember the Hyundai Pony? Kleenex car, you'd use it and throw it away.
