Is Georgia coach on hot seat?

It has been a tumultuous season for Georgia coach Dennis Felton and the Bulldogs. The kind that can get a coach fired. Just ask LSU's John Brady, who got the pink slip Friday, only two years after taking the Tigers to the Final Four. But Felton, in his fifth season as Georgia's men's coach, said he doesn't feel like he's in danger. "Nobody has said or done anything to make me feel like I'm one of those coaches that's fighting for his job," said Felton, 69-72 overall at Georgia, 24-46 in SEC play. The Bulldogs have lost six players the past two seasons, including the two leading returning scorers for this year's team, to disciplinary reasons or transfers.

talented kids don't want to play basketball at Georgia -- only football -- IF one believes the sportswriters who are so ga-ga about Georgia's gridiron prospects for next year.

Report Offensive CommentA losing record while another SEC team wins back to back national titles? Felton's a good coach, but he's in over his head in the conference because he's not as strong a recruiter as Donovan, Gottfried and others who are there.

Report Offensive Commentand he cut Takais Brown (leading scorer and rebounder), Mike Mercer (next top scorer), and Albert Jackson left... Players obviously don't want to play for him...

Most were cut for disciplinary problems, you can't fault the man for that! If he's smart he'll try to land Jacquiese Holcomb out of his own backyard at Georgia Perimeter College! He's going to make some D-1 program happy and is heavily recruited including by UGA!
