02:15 PM ET 06.26 | The chances the Coyotes stay in Arizona appear to be growing slimmer by the day. The Glendale City Council ended a four-hour meeting on Tuesday without an arena deal good enough to take it to a public vote as concerns that the Coyotes and hockey is worth it financially to the city. Renaissance Sports & Entertainment, the group that has agreed to buy the team from the NHL pending an arena deal, has been working with the city to hammer out a deal that the City Council can vote on July 2, the deadline to get a deal done or see the team possibly move to Seattle. Renaissance is asking for as much as $15 million annually from the city to operate the arena, but that is $9 million more than the city has budgeted, leaving a considerable gap to close in the next week.

I wonder if they're Sleepless In Seattle over this.

The Seattle Metros - the west's first team eliminated from the 2014 playoffs. Havelunch second. Der Vildes a beastly turd. Smellgary Flambees fourth. Ed-mung-tongue fifth. Vindaloover and Sans Jobs tied for sixth - coin-toss to see who plays on.
