07:17 AM ET 06.27 | Even though he had decided days earlier, 6-foot-5, five-star Evansville, Ind., guard JaQuan Lyle announced Wednesday that he will play for Louisville. He chose the Cards over Indiana, Florida and Tennessee. "Coach Pitino and Coach Keatts are real great guys. The whole staff is," Lyle said in a phone interview. ... Because of his size and ability to play either guard position, Lyle has been a primary target for U of L since his sophomore year. His commitment lifts the Cards' 2014 class -- which also includes Ballard point guard Quentin Snider and Seattle guard Shaqquan Aaron -- to No. 2 in Scout's rankings behind North Carolina. Lyle is U of L's highest-rated commitment since No. 2 Samardo Samuels in 2008, according to the Scout rankings.

Isn't Evansville just across the river from Louisville? The kid ought to seek the bright lights of the big city. You know, East Lansing, MI. ;-)

UL = Natl Champs, BCS Winner (vs UF....and it really wasn't that close)
UK = 1st Rd NIT loss to Booby Morris, never smelled a BCS game

One is better than the other rt now, but it sure isnt UK.
